A few weeks ago I mentioned that the other Snakes on a Blog was holding a LiveJournal Icon contest, and now it’s time for you to go and vote for your favorites (in five categories no less). Here are the contest submissions, as well as a few I’ve collected in the past couple weeks from outside sources:

There was a recent announcement by the creator of the other Snakes on a Blog that she was holding a LiveJournal Icon contest with five categories: Snakies, Planiest, Spoofiest, Prettiest, Textiest. Submissions are open until April 9th and the winners will get a fan made t-shirt of their choice. Contests are a good idea, I’m going to start doing those too.

Anyway, to get you in the mood, here’s a new collection of LiveJournal / AIM Icons that I’ve seen in the wild:

I previously collected a bunch of LiveJournal Icons together for your Snakes on a Plane enjoyment, but the release the trailer a few days ago seems to have prompted a new surge of artwork. A lot of them came from grrliz_icons, but the rest were found in the wild. Enjoy:
