Snakes on a Comic XVI

Friday, April 21st, 2006

Ok, the site is slow today. An AP story has been picked up by a lot of news outlets and I’m getting a lot of new traffic. 10,000 people today thus far… it slows down the works. Anyway, to lift the spirits of all you new people, here are two comics. The first is from The Maneater, the second is from Diesel Sweeties:

While you new folks are still swarming in, check out everything this site has to offer: Fan Art, Fan Songs, Fan Comics, Fan Shirts and Fan Videos.

Snakes on a Stickdeath

Well, this is the best thing I’ve seen in a while. Click on the .gif to see it animated:

I wasn’t sure how to categorize this… fan art, comic, video? It’s sort a hybrid. Oh well, enjoy.

My 15th comic post and we’ve come full circle. My first comic post included this comic from OverCompensating.com… it was that comic that brought a lot of attention to the movie (not me posting it, the comic itself). Anyway, Jeffrey Rowland has posted a second comic dealing with Snakes on a Plane. This one’s a little bit more maudlin, but what are you going to do?

Snakes on a Comic XII (UPDATED)

Friday, March 31st, 2006

(Updated at 9:02 am)

It’s been a while since I’ve posted comics, but here are two three:

Snakes on a Blog Snakes on a Plane Comics Snakes on a Blog Snakes on a Plane Comics Snakes on a Blog Snakes on a Plane Comic

Please forgive me, but with all the excitement of the past week, and all the hundreds of emails I’ve gotten, and all of my outside work, I’ve gotten bad about keeping track where things have come from. If I leave things unattributed, I apologize. Leave a note in the comments and I’ll give full credit. So, the second comic is from Heaneyland, the same guy who did Snakes on a Sudoku a few days ago. I’m no longer sure where the other second comic came from. The third is from Real Life.

Also, if you check out the counter at the very bottom of the page, you’ll see that this page is about to cross 200,000 visitors. Thanks!

Another comic strip from last year that escaped my attention until now (from Edible Dirt):

Snakes on a Comic X

Saturday, February 25th, 2006

There was a big surge in traffic over the last two days. The fan trailer and the script review were big hits. Now, like a rock band, I can’t rock too hard for too long, so I’m going to slow things down with my version of a ballad: a comic strip.

Two quick comics, one from before Snakes on a Plane, one from after Snakes on a Plane. Both, oddly, seem to share the same amount of connection with the movie. They’re both, little off:

The first comic came from Two Lumps, the second from Off The Mark.

Snakes on a Comic VI

Friday, January 27th, 2006

My Roman Numeral system may start to crumble if I get too much more content. It’s turning into a Rocky-esque situation. Anyway, I was feeling ambitious today and made my own comic. That’s right, self-created content. But, of course, I’m not very talented, so this was the best I could do. Enjoy:

Snakes on a Comic III

Saturday, January 21st, 2006

As I seem to keep running into more content, I’ve reorganized a little. If you look at the right column you’ll see an itemized listing of the general content of each post. Today I’m going to post a comic strip, if you want to see all the comic strips I’ve posted, click on the link that says Fan Comics in the right hand column. Got it?

Here’s the comic:

I found the image here, but it apparently originally came from 4chan.

(I wouldn’t recommend investigating 4chan too deeply if you’re not in the mood for some gross surprises, this comic is far and away them tamest thing I’ve seen them do.)

Of course I’m not the only one excited about seeing this movie, there might have to be some elbowing for seats at the premiere. These great comics indicates that I am not the only one interested:

Snakes on a Mutha’ Fuckin’ Plane! Comics originally from Car, Overcompensating and Strange Joke respectively.

Snakes on a What?
Snakes on a Blog documents my quest to attend the Hollywood premiere of Snakes on a Plane. If I'm really lucky, this blog will do more than just document the quest, it will aid it. Read my first and second pleas.
