I seen your comment on that site. What about the misprinted hats, bent up posters, missing items. Those shirts the transfers are coming off there were not made that way. If they were new line would have said that when the complaints came in

I’m not certain what “complaints came in” to New Line. I don’t work there and know nothing about any controversy surrounding their give-aways. Is there a site detailing problems with the grab bags so I can better understand your objections? I got one of the packages and here are pictures to show you most of what I got (a few things got thrown out, so this isn’t the full representation).

Two shirts (front and back). One has been laundered, the other has not. As you can see both have IDENTICAL appearances. And if you look closely at the images at Doz’s site linked above and at your own shirt, you’ll notice that the wear is identical on every shirt. The areas that seem scratchy, that you think are the transfers “coming off” were designed that way. They made an aesthetic choice, probably to go along with their B-movie theme, to make the shirts looks well worn.

Here’s the rest of what I got. While I acknowledge the stuff isn’t of super high quality, it also wasn’t broken on arrival. You can judge for yourself:

Hat CD and Booklet Posters Everything

I can see they match. My question is why the hell they did it this way? The pics on the contest website while small never gave any indication of anything other than a pristine transfer.

Even if it was their intention, the shirts look bad.It really should have been explained to the people who got them that they were supposed to look like that. They dropped the ball on this.

I tried to google and find the hats I seen some one was selling on ebay. They had missing letters on the hats you could teel that they were the promo packs. I chatted with some other people that got bent up posters that the tube was not bent. Basically I am not worried about it anymore. Just New Line got rude with me when I complained I left something here earlier and thought I would comeback because you asked for alittle bit more detail. I enjoyed the film and the fun. It seemed that when it was New Line’s turn to give what they promised they just kind of as Doz said dropped the ball. Like I said I just found this and thought that I would pass it along. You are right about the shirts they do all match in the pattern, but why didn’t New Line mention that when asked? Oh we’ll like I said I was just telling you. I know you do not work for New Line but you do own the Snakes On A Blog Site, Which is about SoaP. Which I would assume would cover the Pros and Cons of the Film.

I would agree that the pattern is alike on the shirts, but I am with doz why? Also, the full size posters were bent but down the center and crinkled but the tube was not. New Line sent Jakob two more and they were okay, but only after they got rude with me about it. So I have to agree with snakes on a new line. Everything else was good though, so I’m with snakes on a blog with that. It’s all good SoaP was fun. Think of it that way Snakes On A New Line, It was all free.
