Snakes on a DVD Release II

DVDactive discovered some information about the upcoming DVD release, along with a few graphics:

They’re reporting the same basic information that I posted a few days ago:

This wildly popular film will be available to own from the 2nd January, and should retail at around $28.98. The disc will carry an anamorphic widescreen presentation, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track. The full specs have yet to be revealed I’m afraid, although we can confirm that extras will include a gag reel, ten deleted scenes, a music video, an internet fan featurette, and much more.

$29.98? Seems a tad steep.

That’s the manufacturer’s recommended price. you’ll probably find it for $20.

It’s nice to know the release date for the DVD. As Crazymonk said, you’ll probably find it at about $20 instead.

Damn! I was hoping to get it for CHristmas, but looks like that’s not gonna happen…

To irrelivent and anyone else who wants this DVD for Christmas: just ask for a ~$20 gift certificate to Fry’s or Amazon or Best Buy or something and get it the week after Christmas.

Guh.

Additionally, if you squint at one of the images, you’ll see the ‘order date’ is November 28th. I guess I don’t really know what that means, but I suspect that’s when sites like Amazon will begin taking orders and, while the DVD won’t arrive until after the new year, you’ll at least know that it’s on its way.

please tell me they will be having a commentary track by someone GOOD, like maybe a certain male flight attendant. that would be AWESOME and better than the normal boring producer ones. ken was hilarious in the movie. give the guy his due, or at least give us somethign unexpected like that.

I’m sad it won’t be out by Christmas. I was hoping.

im a bit dissapointed that theyll have a “internet fan featurette.” i feel the fans deserve nothing less than a whole second disc of fan content.

In totally unrelated news, but it seemed to go better here than the ones above:

Turns out Maria’s brave move to save the little boy wasn’t so bright after all. Check out the last part of this article:

“But Beier said the method of cutting a wound and sucking out the venom is never recommended.

“Do not do this,” he said. “That’s been shown not to have been of any benefit and it can increase the effect of infection or damage.”

That’s what I’m talkin’ about. ;-)

And in other airplane news, how about pervs on a plane??
