The Daily Show is once again taking on Snakes on a Plane. Why, oh why, didn’t they want to interview me? Oh well, I guess it’s ok. I’m just, you know, sad. The Daily Show was the one interview I wanted to do. Sigh.

I’m getting ready to fly from NJ to FL with my mother and daughter. The kid and I were all ready to bring some plastic and rubber snakes on the plane, but for some reason, the Friday before WE fly, the news is filled with all sorts of flight horror stories–including one involving a guy who tried to bring a stick of dynamite onto a plane. Mom thinks–and remember, people, she’s had chemo, so she’s not functioning on all thrusters, here–that if we try to bring PLASTIC SNAKES on the plane, we’ll have all sorts of grief with security–she actually equated PLASTIC SNAKES with the DYNAMITE guy. She’s paying for the trip, so she’s forbidden us to bring the snakes. :-(

The “motherfucking” jokes got stale after the 2nd or 3rd time.
All lies. There have been real snakes loose on real planes, many times.
