So, I have been recuperating from this whole experience for the last two days. I guess I haven’t yet written up what the premiere was like. I’ve had a number of duties to attend to, including an engagement party, but I’ll get a full post about my experiences up Sunday evening after a long, probably snake-filled, flight.

Rest up! Brian Have a safe flight full of snakes.
I just saw the movie for the third time tonight. Ridiculous? Maybe….but then again….it’s Snakes on a Plane.
Hi, I’m only now getting ready to download this movie, but I noticed something odd on the movie posters. Seems one of the snakes wrapped around the plane has two tails or the graphics department screwed up. If you follow the bodies around the plane, you notice one snake does not wrap around correctly. Just an observation. Perhaps they will print corrected versions?
Hope you had an awesome time Brian, and I can’t wait to hear about it. This movei was everything I could have hoped for… hope the LA Audience was just as amazing as the packed cinema in Boston was. — I’m sure you’ll win. ;)
I saw it. laughed my ass off WHILE being scared shitless. It was weird. Lol, I usually download movies but I figured I might as well actually pay for this one as fans had such a huge input. LOL. Hope it does better at the box office though!
I hope you had a good time at the premiere. I thought the movie was fantastic! I’m looking forward to reading the full post later tonight.
Hey Brian,
It was great to meet ya. I think they (DVD interviewers)enjoyed you more than me as I wasn’t giving them the answers they wanted. We had a good time though. When are you starting the SOAP re-hab blog?
-DC
Phillip why are you saying it bombed? Its the #1 film this week! It knocked Talledega out of the top spot and from what Ive read, SOAP has what they call “legs” (I know snakes dont have legs) meaning it will maintain a steady box office for quite some time.
My friend and I make a comedy street interview show and we talked to people here in New York City on the night of the “Snakes on a Plane” premiere. Here’s a link to that video, and we’re looking forward to seeing footage from the real deal out in L.A.!

For anyone saying this movie bombed, I encourage you to read Kevin Smith’s blog after Clerks was released. Numbers are very simple things people and they don’t point to this movie “bombing”. The domestic gross will more be more than enough to make a profit. International and dvd sells will promise us a sequel. Pfft bomb indeed.
Hi folks,
Here’s my take on the SoAP experience: http://screenrush.blogspot.com
I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to engage with this dialogue.
Snakes was fucking great.
It was a much better movie than I expected.

giles–not a bad idea–did you see the segment of “Heavy Metal” (1981) that had that?? Best part of the movie, IMHO.
AnyankaBunnyfear–you had to know it was only a matter of time before someone used that line for a tabloid headline. Sad, very sad. Snakes deserve a better image.
I have been trying to tell the world for many years that I have seen the biggest snake ever on Bougainville Island in 1963 when hunting crocodiles in a particular lake but nobody wants to listen. It was at an arms length away from where I sat in a canoe and I thought that it was a log perhaps 12 0r 14 inches in girth. My two native helpers behid me insisted it was a snake, so I fired a shot at it from my 303.
I know that the political situation had not been favorable in the lsst two decades, but now things are changing. Wanto hear more about it?

take your time..youve done a great job. who thinks we’ll be number one this weekend?
