I’ve been holding on to these comics for so long that I’ve lost their source info. If anbody knows where these came from, please post in the comments so I can attribute them correctly:

Ok, we’ve had some people chime in.  The first comic was written by Matt Simpson (Nuclear Powered Toaster) and Eric Nault (Hellbound Comic), the second was from Savage Chicken, the third was an editorial from the Free Lance Star.  The fourth one is still a mystery to me.

All previous Fan Comics.

I sent in the Savage Chickens one (the post-it note). It’s from savagechickens.com or the exact link is http://www.savagechickens.com/blog/2006/07/long-flight.html.

Off topic but…..

when do you expect to make your last update? I just want to know when I should start preparing for the very end.

I really don’t know when it’s going to end. Shortly after the film comes out, I guess. My plan was to leave the sit up as a tribute to what has been, maybe update it VERY occasionally as new news comes out, but it’s not going to be a day to day project after September 1st.

Sad, eh?

First comic is from the creator of the webcomics Hellbound and Oh the Humanity. I recognized the style immediately. :D

Oh MAN. I don’t what I’ll do when you don’t update this every day! (I mean, I realistically *do*, but still!) It’s in my bookmarks toolbar folder… and I visit it multiple times a day. (I mean, you COULD have posted at any time.)

Sad.

Thanks for making the months up to SoaP such an awesome ride. (Even moreso than it would have been otherwise.)

Awwww :( as cool it is for the movie to be here (well technically here on Friday) it will be very sad to see SnakesOnABlog “end” or not be a regularly updated thing. *sigh* Booo September 1st Boo!

Brian you NEED to leave the site up and update it every now and again. At the very least this could be a library for SoaP fans even if it’s not being updated.

I don’t know how much of a demand stuff like this well be in the weeks/months after the film’s release and everything dies down, but just a thought.

If “Snakes” is successful, snakes will likely appear on some other form of public transportation in the near future.

If snakes appear on some other form of public transportation, we’ll need SLJ to keep our asses safe from the motherfucking snakes and Snakes on a Blog to keep us informed about those motherfucking snakes.

So, when Friday rolls around, it’s up to you to keep Snakes on a Blog alive.

See SoaP, encourage a sequel, and keep Brian entertained over the next few months.

The third comic (editorial cartoon about “Islamic Fascists”) came from the Free Lance Star, a local paper from Fredericksburg, VA. I believe it was in Friday’s paper, 8/11/2006.

Hey, I’m pondering an idea about the future. I’ll post about it later today when I’ve crystalized it a little bit better.

Brian,
When do you finish law school at GTU.. Are you going to have a snake on your mortar board instead of a tassle??

Comment by Leigh — August 14, 2006 @ 6:39 pm

Snakes on a graduate!

Comment by Steve the Pirate — August 15, 2006 @ 5:36 am

Actually, the first one was not just from Hellbound, but also from me, at http://www.nuclearpoweredtoaster.com I wrote it, and Eric drew it. So please attribute it to both of us.

I’m posting this using a Google Cache versoin of the site, because the server is temporarily unavailable. I’ve seen the movie, and oh dear god it was awesome. It lived up to the hype.
