Snakes on a Train

A few weeks ago I wrote that I was surprised by the apparently legitimate production of Snakes on a Train with this unlikely plotline:

Under a powerful Mayan curse, snakes are hatched inside a young woman, slowly devouring her from within. Her only chance for survival is a powerful shaman who lives across the border. With only hours to live, she jumps on a train headed for Los Angeles. Unfortunately for the passengers aboard, they are now trapped, soon to be victims of these flesh-eating vipers.

At the time, they didn’t have a trailer online, so it wasn’t entirely clear if they were for real.  But, hey, they are:

That was surprisingly grusome… hard to watch even. I liked the GIANT snake eating the train though.

Yes, this is a real movie from a company called The Asylum, makers of really bad knockoff movies. The have a website:

I think it comes out next week Tuesday. It should be in Blockbuster video.

WTF was that? VERY Gruesome though, difficult enough to watch because of that.

The huge snake eating the train was a bit OTT as well.

The train-eating snake at the end was pretty great. But the rest was, as the cyber-kiddies say today, “teh ghey”. :p

Jeez…some people think you can make a movie out of anything, as long as theres snakes in it. Whatever…and good luck getting off that train without Sam J. to SAVE YOUR ASS!

yeah i work at blockbuster and get to watch all the movies before they come out and i just watched this one tonight. wow. that shit is just terrible. let me give you the run down. the woman pukes out snakes almost the whole movie before turning into a half mile long snake and eating the entire train. then she gets swallowed up by a tornado. wow.

Wow, Alex–I work at Blockbuster too, and I also rented SoaT.

From your description, it seems like a must-watch in my book.

Oh, my. I’ve heard a bit about this, but I still thought it was false information. I run a t-shirt business, and a few weeks ago for fun I made a “Snakes On A Train” shirt…LOL!
