Snakes on New Posters
July 27th, 2006 at 1:27 pm

We’ve already seen two official poster releases (not counting French posters), now it seems like New Line has put out two more. The first I saw for the first time at Comic-Con and recently saw up at local movie theater. The second I haven’t seen anywhere in real life, but it’s apparently out on the streets:

For those of you looking for a more detailed shot of the images in the first poster, try this. And here’s a few shots of billboards and huge posters that have sprouted up in Times Square. I guess New Line has officially moved into doing it’s own marketing for the movie.

That first of the new posters is BRILLIANT. I would pay real cash money for one of those.

I saw the safety one at my theater when I went to go see Clerks II opening night. In that exact spot before then, they had the original poster. The new one is brilliant.

We’ve gotten the first two posters at work, but not the safety instructions ones. Hmm… looks like I need to have my assistant manager fax the New Line promotional materials order form.

That second one–the one that says “Enjoy the Fright”–THAT’S the one that made me almost run off the road after church last week! That’s the one on the bustop! Now where are my tools???

I like how the poster above the Times Square SOAP add says, “A Quality Education For Everyone”. Great placement New Line!
