Snakes on a New Trailer
July 6th, 2006 at 12:01 am

Snakes on a Plane puts out more damn trailers than I can keep track of. I know David Ellis said they’d be doing five mini-trailers meant for TV release. First we had the teaser trailer, then they released the second one a week ago, I guess this is the third trailer:

Snakes on a Plane Third Trailer

Let me know if anyone has a better link for it than that strange flash site.

… Lesbians?

Comment by Cheezer — July 6, 2006 @ 7:27 am

Ok, being the resident prude, I could do without the “Mile-High club” scene (how can THAT be comfortable–have you ever BEEN in an airplane bathroom?)–but other than that, it completely rocked my socks! C’mon, August!

Lesbians On A Plane??

You know, I try to think to myself, how else can they improve this movie. I thought I had thought of everything. Looks like I was wrong!!!

Comment by Szin Dragon — July 6, 2006 @ 9:38 am

OMFG lesbians!!!! Good call!!!!!!

Comment by Snakes in Europe — July 6, 2006 @ 12:08 pm

I’ll never grow tired of seeing grown men and women shrieking in horror over a few corn snakes. Truly. It is bliss.

Snakes on Lesbians on a Plane. I like where that’s going. So we’ve got a plane, a bunch of snakes, a beefcake villain, Samuel L. Jackson, a gay flight attendant, and lesbians in an airplane bathroom. Truly, this will be a great film.

Sorry to disappoint you, folks, but for the sake of accuracy, I went back and went through that part frame by frame–what we have here is a failure to communicate the gender of the other person, but one frame shows HIS face (and chest) quite clearly. No lesbians here–strictly hetero. Sorry.

Comment by Armitage112 — July 6, 2006 @ 12:40 pm

Well, they’re still on a plane. With snakes. Really, anything else would just be gravy.

Comment by Ann — July 6, 2006 @ 1:20 pm

they’re saving the lesbians for thhe sequel

Comment by Betty Swallocks — July 6, 2006 @ 1:29 pm

This trailer arrived at work yesterday just in time for us to attach it to play before Pirates of the Caribbean.

Excellent! The kid and I are gonna catch “PotC2″ on Saturday–that’s Movie Day at our place. Hope our theater plays it!!!

Comment by Armitage112 — July 6, 2006 @ 3:22 pm

I cried while watching that…

Comment by irrelivent — July 6, 2006 @ 4:01 pm

Even more terrifying than watching England in a penalty shoot-out!

Comment by Alan Weaver — July 6, 2006 @ 4:59 pm

Seems like this film isn’t going to be for the feint of heart…. Very Jumpy!

I’ll still be seeing it anyway! :D

Anyone else catch that “This Film is Not Yet Rated” business?? WTF?? I thought they re-shot some scenes to get the R-rating?? It’s coming out next month, people, make up your minds!!!

Comment by Armitage112 — July 7, 2006 @ 1:33 pm

Armitage112

The MPAA (the most evil organization on the planet) is the group that rates films. Studios target films for a certain rating, and they are almosty always right, but the MPAA still has to officially rate each picture before it can advertise its rating.

The MPAA and RIAA should be disbanded, though.

Comment by pepeeg — July 7, 2006 @ 2:53 pm

Well, then, the MPAA needs to put a fire under it! ;-)

Comment by Armitage112 — July 7, 2006 @ 10:49 pm

can somebody put this on youtube.com PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!

Comment by me — July 8, 2006 @ 5:38 pm

The good news is, someone DID put this on YouTube. The bad news is, the quality isn’t much better–they must have gotten it from the same place. :-(

[...] Let’s sum things up. Lots of people are killed in a variety of ways, and likewise for the snakes. I’m particularly looking forward to when SLJ shoots a cobra with a spear gun. I’m not exactly sure how many people are killed in total, but I managed to keep track of all “onscreen” (read: explicitly described) non-reptilian deaths: [...]
