Snakes on the Daily Show II

There’s a mini-war on Comedy Central for the most insertions of Snakes on a Plane references into a fake news show. The Daily Show opened with a quick George Bush impression, followed by two return shots from The Colbert Report. Now The Daily Show has evened things up:

Who’s going to be next?

Does anybody have video of this?

UPDATE 6/26/06 at 11:40am: Got a link from the NYTimes today and it’s hammering my servers. I’ve shortened the length of the front page from 20 stories to 9 to help combat the server stress. I’ll change it back in a few days. Please accept my apologies for temporary service disruptions over the next day. Refreshing a few times should solve all problems.

Ha ha, when will Darryl Hannah ever learn…
I’m really enjoying the on going TV battle with Snakes on a Plane, we saw Ellen, now Jon and Stephan, i wonder if we will get to see this on something like Oprah, that would be the only way i’d watch that show. So far though i think Colbert is up on the soap battle. Man imagine once Samuel starts going on Conan and Leno etc as the movie is about to be released. If anyone has any other info about TV apearances please post it.

I have not had enough of these mothaf***in snakes on my mothaf***in TV!!!

Hi, I saw your blog featured on a news bit my friend sent me via Myspace. :)

Me and four of my girlfriends are making snake & plane costumes for the premiere (not the Hollywood premiere, just the one here in Fresno which will have zero fanfare). Could we have a shout-out sometime in the coming months? I haven’t gotten anything up yet, as we’re still in the brainstorming stages, but I’ll be documenting each phase of the project in pictures.

I just saw a segment on Countdown with Keith Olbermann–but it wasn’t Comcast-related–it was all about the movie! It made #2 on the countdown, and it was called “Stowaway Snakes”! Way to go! Can’t wait for someone to get a clip of this to the site!
