Problem is, most of those babies in the audience had NO clue what he was talking about (note the muted response to the first mention of “SoaP”). Losers. I love how the biggest fan of this movie is actually samuel l jackson.

Not only will SOAP win best movie NEXT year, through some unexplainable happening, it will win best movie for three years after that as well.

I don’t think SoaP will win an Oscar, although maybe it’ll win an MTV award or a kid’s choice or all that other stuff. But I think it’ll be a really interesting year–I suspect that SoaP will have a higher box office gross than pretty much any movie on the Oscar list. I wonder if that’ll be a first?

I’m looking forward to official movie merchandise. I’d like them to put out action figures or toys of this movie–a plane with tiny plastic snakes and tiny passengers, and a little Samuel L. Jackson. Or a Lego SoaP, maybe–Lego does movies. New Line: Make it, and I will buy it. Seriously. Even the official SoaP Soap-on-a-RopE.

If should seriosuly be considered for at least a Best original Screenplay nomination..I mean COME ON its about Snakes on a motherfucking PLANE how much more original can you get!??!!?

I think Mr. Jackson was refering to next year’s MTV Movie Awards–even he has to realize, as much as we all love this movie, the snoots at the Academy Awards won’t even give this a second look. :-p

“No movie shall triumph over ‘Snakes on a Plane’”!! That should be the new tagline! I love it! :-)
