Snakes on a Q&A

If I were going to ask a few questions to the actors/actresses playing one or more minor characters in the film, what questions would you have me ask?

I’d definitely have to ask if they have any idea how anticipated this movie is. I’d ask if they’ve heard the songs, read the blogs, seen the shirts. I’d also ask if they would be willing to do a sequel. I’d also want to know if they were involved in any of the changes when the movie went from PG-13 to R and if they feel it made the movie better or not. Then at the end of the interview I’d stand up and scream “I’ve had it with these snakes” and I’d run from the room.

I would ask them, in their opinion, what importance their characters had to the film. If they’re properly grounded, you might get some funny answers out of these more minor actors. I’d also ask what effect they think their appearance in “Snakes on a Plane” will have on their career, and maybe what preparation they had to go through to prepare for their role. And maybe stuff like are you afraid of either snakes or planes?

this one’s for sam:- mr jackson, what was your main motivation and also what went through your head, as you swang that motherfucking snake over your motherfucking head?
to david r. ellis:- who’s idea was it for the snake swinging thing and the whole tazer thing?

I’d definately ask them how aware are they of the buzz, but that’s a question I’m sure they get all the time. To mix it up I’ll ask them:

What is your favorite kind of snake?

Can two snakes find love on a plane?

What’s it like working with Sam Jackson? (That’s if they had any scenes with him, of course. Again, another question they prob. get a lot, but worth asking.)

Were they attacked by snakes in any of their scenes? If so, was it real snakes or CG?

And of course, should they ever have the unfortunate luck of being on a plane actually overrun with vicious snakes, who do they want in their corner: Samuel L. Jackson or Monty “One hand full of snake, and the other hand full of plane” Coles?

What else would they like to see put on a plane? Or do they think snakes should be put on other modes of transportation? Or a little of both?

If they were a snake, what kind of snake would they be?

What’s their favorite line from the movie?

Are they afraid to fly?

Do they have any advice for us on what to do in case of a snake attack onboard a commercial aircraft?

If they could choose–a plane full of snakes or a submarine full of deadly killer bees, which would they pick?

On a side note, I’m planning to get a pet snake, and I’ll probably order it from a breeder. Yep, it’ll be yet another real-life snake on a plane–in this case, a harmless juvenile on a UPS transport, but hey.
