Snakes on Evolution

CNN just posted a story discussing how snakes “evolved on land.”
I don’t know about everybody else, but I’m pretty sure they evolved in the air.

by the way, Brian, SNAKE SOUP and SNAKE BLOOD, two popular night-market dishes in Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and China. Did you ever drink snake blood in a glass? Like in the movie THE BEACH, remember? Try it. On the plane to LA….. as for SNAKE SOUP, tastes just like chicken soup broth, only snakier…..

Interesting. That Periscope item just appeared in NEWSWEEK’s internatioal edition in ASia, a few weeks late. Par for the course, I guess. My students at the local university are translating it into Chinese now. They asked me what does RINGLEADER mean in English? I had to explain…..
