Snakes on MSNBC (HEAVILY UPDATED)
March 29th, 2006 at 6:23 pm

Updated at 11:35pm.

In the last few days I’ve gotten a number of calls for interviews. Today I did an interview with MSNBC for Countdown with Keith Olbermann. I don’t yet know when it’s going to air. I did not, alas, speak to Keith Olbermann himself… oh well.

It was tough.

I’ve never done a TV interview before, and I’m pretty sure I’ve ascertained that my future career can’t involve a lot of TV face time. I sat down and had a hard time getting clear answers out. I’ve done enough phone interviews lately that I can do those without too much difficulty, but I just got nervous with the camera and the lights. I wonder how fidgety I was.
Alan, my cameraman/technician (I didn’t get his official title), was very friendly and helpful. Hopefully I gave them enough footage that they can pull something where I don’t mumble too much. My guess is they’re going to show me talking about the site’s stats… it’s hard to mess that up too much.

Here’s a few pictures I took of the setup in the apartment. I blurred out Alan, I don’t know if he wants to be on the internet.

They didn’t know when the piece would air, I’ll try to post when it’s coming on. It should be sometime in the next couple of days. Hopefully someone out there with some technology can grab it for me.

So I don’t post comments often, but I read everything you send out (via your RSS feed) and I have to say I wish I would have thought of this first. Even if you don’t go to the premiere (which I highly doubt), you’re generating great publicity for yourself and the movie.

So I tip my hat to you good sir. You’ve done an awesome job and I can’t wait for the next update!

Yeah, after all that you’ve done for the movie, it seems rather inconceivable that you wouldn’t get to go to the premiere. Heck, you should’ve asked for a walk-on role during the reshoots, too.

And, I’ve decided to make your blog my second home.

Better yet, a snake-bite role. ;)

Snakes on a What?
Snakes on a Blog documents my quest to attend the Hollywood premiere of Snakes on a Plane. If I'm really lucky, this blog will do more than just document the quest, it will aid it. Read my first and second pleas.
