It’s about time for another recap of how this blog is doing so far.
I’ve been online for 30 days. I’ve had about 10,000 visitors. I’ve posted 52 stories. There have been 45,000 requests for pages, and a staggering 650,000 requests for other files (these are mostly people hotlinking to images and comics that I’ve hosted and posting them on other forums around the net). I’ve transferred 13 gigabytes of data. The most popular day of the week is Friday. The most popular hour of the day is between 10pm and 11pm. I’ve gotten two free t-shirts.
And yet, as a freind pointed out yesterday:
“your blog has pretty much degenerated into free advertising for free advertising for a movie called Snakes on A Plane. remember when you were going to blog your progress in getting tickets to the premiere?”
I haven’t forgotten, but I admit that it’s easy to get bogged down. I even set up a category for news about the premiere itself, but alas, I haven’t yet had the opportunity to use it. All I can say, so far, is that I’ve had a couple of interesting nibbles. I’ve had a few conversations with a few interesting people, and I’m definitely moving in the right direction. As soon as I can say more, I will. At the moment, though, nothing is written in stone and I still need your help!
Read my first plea. Read my second plea. Think about everyone you know in Hollywood, and pass this webpage to them. Let them know that there’s one person out there who has dreams so small that they can be achieved by the receipt of a few paltry tickets to a single Hollywood premiere.

So, uh, how does one go about getting free fan-art t-shirts? I totally need one of those to wear to the premiere, which I am pretty sure The Diva is going to hook me up with!
